Hey...it could happen!
Time Magazine has honored Francisco Guerra, president & CEO of Global Special Effects, with their nomination as Inventor of the Year for his work on Flogos! In 2002, Mr. Guerra was awarded for Best Invention of the Year for the date rape drug detector, now turned uber-successful business, Drink Safe Technology. Drink Safe Tech produces custom-printed cardboard beverage coasters, treated with specific chemicals that test for the presence of any date rape drug when a drop of liquid is placed on one of the testing areas. The entire staff at GSE is incredibly excited about Mr. Guerra’s nomination, and we all want to wish him the best of luck during the selection process!
