We have known for quite some time now that we have left the special effects lighting industry almost entirely untapped, except for our Fog and Cryo products that tend to go hand-in-hand with it…and The Magic Lamp. We have just been so busy with the rest of the special effects industry that we couldn’t possibly fathom testing the waters of the lighting industry without being fully-prepared for the response. That time has now come, and Global Special Effects is officially ready.
We are slowly beginning to forge a path into the special effects lighting industry with the introduction of a few new products, with more to be introduced in the near future. We have developed invaluable relationships with lighting companies and professional lighting designers over the years because of our respective proximities to very similar and often-overlapping industries. We hope that we can now start to build on those relationships by finally being able to do business with those professionals with which we have so much in common! You guys can finally be assured of buying professional-quality top-of-the-line lighting products…because they’re from Global Special Effects — a company you have become familiar with over the years, who offers professional-quality special effects products at reasonable prices — and we love to make you guys happy!
We are now offering the following products in our Lighting category (which is not currently visible from the main menu because of a scripting bug on the backend — and will hopefully be fixed soon):

- Puck Q6W LED Lights (wireless – DMX-ready): available as singles or as set of 4.
- Xylobands (programmable, RF-controlled light bracelets): link directs to a blog description, but this will soon be added as an official product.
- The Magic Lamp (11.5 ft-tall cast aluminum street lamp): includes 3 discreet Evaporative Snow nozzles and is controlled by either wireless remote or hidden panel unit.
