Mercedes dealerships all around the world have been using Global Special Effects Theater Snow to showcase their M-Class and other sport utility vehicles.  (Click the photo to see the effect up close.)

The theater snow is quite different from our Faux Snow or the snow created by our Evaporative Snow machines.  It is made of a shredded plastic-like material, and can be used for either snowfall effects (via the Snow Curtain) or for limited ground cover effects (like the dealerships use).  For a more thorough ground cover, we suggest either Snow Pellets or Snow Blankets (also used in this particular photo).

One box of Theater Snow can cover an area of 5 x 5 x 3 inches high.  It is used in store display windows throughout the world (such as Macy’s and Victoria’s Secret, to name a couple offhand).  It’s also obviously great for cars, window ledges, in and around trees, and covering up bushes as a cheap and easy-cleanup alternative to the Snow Flocker, which is used in more professional settings such as music videos and Hollywood film productions.
