Congratulations to Florian Gnan, the entire staff at our GSE European Hub in Germany, and Kempertrautmann, for their recent GOLD AWARD in the “Best Use of Ambient Media: Large Scale” category at the Cannes Lions 59th Annual International Festival of Creativity!
The group put together a gigantic Flogos presentation for World AIDS Day that got loads of international media attention. Every 18 seconds, someone dies from AIDS. In order to help people to better realize this fact, they released a Flogo in the shape of a cross every 18 seconds to represent every nameless, faceless person that dies from this horrible disease every single day.
The effect was outstanding. It actually got peoples attention, and you can really tell by their faces in the presentation that they realize what every one of those crosses represents. Here’s the kicker: it helped increase donations by 10.6%! We are truly proud to be associated with such an amazing group of individuals!
