We have been trying to get this feature in place for a loooong time, and now our dream has finally come to fruition… You can now select which product updates you receive by email!
We have spent many miserable hours managing contact lists and switching from multiple email service providers until we finally came to the conclusion that it would be easier to just provide our own email newsletter service. Enter SendCity. SendCity is our very own brainchild, and is the grandaddy of all email service providers. Say goodbye to Constant Contact, because SendCity has just knocked the socks off the other guys.
Now that we finally have a stable and reliable way to send emails to you guys, we have created a page for you to select which products you wish to be notified about. This way, you won’t be receiving a bunch of junk mail about products you’re not interested in. This allows us to cater to only the individuals we are targeting, thus creating less unwanted email and sending less often.
Most of all, we want our customers to be happy, and we know it sucks when you try to unsubscribe from our newsletters and get an error. Or we happen to switch providers and you accidentally get re-added to our mailing list. Well NO MORE!!! SendCity has solved all of that for us. It is ultra-reliable, and we can finally maintain your subscriptions with a great peace of mind.

Upon subscription, you will also be subscribed to our AfterFX Newsletter, which DOES NOT go out on a regular basis. If it helps you to understand, the last one we sent out was more than 4 months ago. We mostly try to target specific groups of individuals who we know will be interested in certain emails, rather than mass-mailing every person on every list.
We hope this update will help all parties involved, and now, if you ever need an email service provider, you know who to call — Send City, where email marketing is made easy.
Important note: If you start receiving emails from us that don’t seem like they particularly apply to the products you are interested in, please click the unsubscribe link in the email, the go to www.globalspecialeffects.com/product-updates/ and select which product updates you wish to receive from now on. If this were the case, you were probably in one of our more-generalized lists. The product updates are targeted directly toward individuals interested in those specific products, so this should definitely fix the issue.
Also: We have lots of contact lists, so if you feel like you are part of a certain group of individuals and would only like to receive emails directed toward that group, please let us know, and we will manually add you to the list. Cases in point: if you are an art director or production manager, LET US KNOW! We have the ability to only send emails pertaining to your group. If you own a haunted attraction — LET US KNOW! We’ll add you to the Halloween-related category.
