In 1990, an innovative magician, Francisco Guerra needed an artificial snow effect for his performance. Finding nothing suitable on the market, he invented his own snow-making machine and his company, SnowMasters Special Effects, was born. Through the years, SnowMasters established a loyal customer base and experienced steady growth in both product line and sales. In 2011, to reflect our unique array of visual special effects products and our expanding international presence, the company name was changed to Global Special Effects, Inc.

Global Special Effects, Inc is a manufacturer of visual special effects products and accessories nestled in the beautiful rolling hills of Lexington, Alabama USA. Our company was born from innovation and developing innovative visual special effects technology continues to be a top priority.
